Valentine’s Day In Thailand

Valentine's Day In Thailand

Valentine’s Day In Thailand – a day of love and romance? This special day is not only a western tradition.

Thailand is madly in love with all things Valentine’s.

It starts early on the morning of February 14th when people make their way to the thousands of stalls which are filled with teddy bears, flowers and any type of romantic gift that you could ever imagine.

The gifts are commonly left at your Valentine’s home, car or office to surprise them – cute, we know.

Ripley’s Believe It Or Not, in Pattaya, famously held a competition on Valentine’s Day. In this competition, couples attempted to break the world record for non-stop hugging. 34 couples took part in this competition. The current record is 25 hours 22 minutes and 36 seconds.

That is only a quick look at how Valentine’s Day is celebrated in Thailand. Although we can’t show you the sights of Thailand, we can help you experience the taste of Thailand on February 14th with our special Valentine’s Day menu.
