On The Road To Tokyo!

We were delighted to be a part of the Irish Women’s Hockey Team’s last training session in Belfast before they head off to Tokyo. They are such an inspirational group of ladies and we have been lucky enough to work with the ladies for the last three years.

Family is very important to us in Saba, so when the Women’s Irish Hockey Team were heading off to Tokyo this week, designing and making a good luck gift for them was a family affair. In Thai culture, amulets are worn to protect and bring good fortune.

With this remit, Paul’s sister-in-law Caroline Gray who runs the workshop in their family business Grays Jewellers Dublin designed and made the gold discs which were personalised by engraving the player’s initial on one side and ‘Tokyo 2021’ on the other. Let’s hope the necklaces, won’t be the only gold the girls bring home!
