Saba To Go, Rathmines was crowned Leinster’s favourite takeaway, Best Thai in Ireland and was awarded silver in Best Spice Bag in Ireland as Just Eat reveals the winners of this year’s Just Eat National Takeaway Awards

The Round Room in Dublin’s iconic Mansion House played host to the eighth annual Just Eat Takeaway Awards last night. Celebrating the 2021 Makers of Greatness and highlighting each of the restaurant’s unique contributions to the industry, the glamorous black-tie event, which was presented by popular comedian Joanne McNally, was developed by Just Eat to uncover the nation’s favourite takeaways.

Over 68,000 votes were cast for local and independent takeaway eateries right across Ireland. A total of 188 restaurants were nominated, the winners in each of the categories were decided by public vote, with the Just Eat Takeaway Awards giving customers the chance to support their favourite local Makers of Greatness.

 Provincial heroes included Saba To Go, Rathmines who walked away with  ‘Best of Leinster,’ ‘Best Thai Takeaway’ and silver in ‘Best Spicebag in Ireland’.

Commenting specifically on the winners of this year’s Just Eat Takeaway Awards, Just Eat Managing Director, Amanda Roche-Kelly closed by saying: “These awards have always been about giving our loyal Just Eat customers the opportunity to support their local restaurant.
