Bollywood Comes To Dublin

Dublin – the latest Bollywood Star! – Trinity College, Temple Bar, Grafton Street feature in a new video.

Locations around Dublin appear as we’ve never seen them before in the latest teaser video for this summer’s highly-anticipated Bollywood blockbuster Ek Tha Tiger.The new video shows Trinity College, Temple Bar and Grafton Street as backdrops for two of Bollywood and India’s mega-stars, Salman Khan and Katrina Kaif. The video even features some members of An Garda Síochána, Kilkenny hurlers and a well-known Grafton Street mime artist! Shot in Dublin last autumn, the Ek Tha Tiger feature film will be released on Aug 15 and is expected to reach a massive audience of over 100 million viewers in 24 countries.This is the first major Bollywood production to be shot here. It will significantly boost awareness of the island of Ireland among India’s growing middle classes who have the potential to come here on holidays.
