Coeliac Friendly Menus at SABA

Following a gluten-free diet doesn’t mean you have to sacrifice eating out or enjoying restaurant quality food in your own home.  The extensive menus at SABA Restaurant, Clarendon Street and SABA To Go, Rathmines feature a number of coeliac friendly dishes, denoted by a “c” symbol which guarantee a delicious gluten-free meal.

Saba Venue

Each dish has been designed by Saba’s executive chef, Taweesak Trakoolwattana with a focus on the fresh, healthy ingredients and rich authentic flavours that Saba is renowned for.  All dishes feature plenty of vegetables to create meals that are low in fat, sugar and salt, but rich in fibre.

Appetisers include Goi Cuon; fresh Vietnamese summer rolls with vermicelli noodles, bean sprouts, carrot julienne and mint served with a vinegar and hot chilli dip.  Main courses feature a variety of dishes including hake in banana leaf, Pad Thai Jay and Massaman chicken while delicious desserts include a tropical fruit platter served with sumptuous passion fruit sorbet. All our ice-creams and sorbets are made by Goldenhill in Wicklow and are gluten free.

If you fancy a dish that isn’t listed as coeliac on the menu, simply ask your server for a coeliac version. Chefs at SABA and SABA To Go can tailor dishes to your needs using naturally gluten-free ingredients like fish sauce and gluten free including soya sauce.
